Jessica Preville

Jessica has always enjoyed a customer-oriented career. Before joining Halliday Financial, she spent more than a decade working in the restaurant industry. Jessica began her career in financial services in 2017 with an internship at an insurance company and quickly learned how the constraints one company can hinder a client's overall financial wellness. She knew looking for an independent firm was the only way to go. She joined Halliday Financial in 2019, as an assistant, after graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University at Albany with a bachelor’s in Finance and Entrepreneurship. After passing the required exams, she began her career as a financial advisor and in June 2023 became our compliance officer for the upstate New York office.

Since joining Halliday Financial she has expanded her capabilities beyond insurance into financial planning and investment management. Helping clients understand how small everyday decisions can affect their long-term financial standing is key to her success with clients. She works with everyone from recent college graduates just starting out, to soon to be retirees planning for their golden years. By taking a holistic approach and digging deep to learn what is most important to clients, she is able create a plan clients can feel comfortable and confident with.

She currently still lives in Knox, NY with her husband, four cats and two horses. In her free time, she enjoys doing anything outside including gardening, hiking, swimming, and spending time on the lake.
