Joseph R. Tedeschi
Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™, Regional Vice President
Joe Tedeschi is a seasoned Financial Advisor with Halliday Financial in Long Island, New York.
Joe and Halliday Financial have been a winning combination. He has been instrumental in the growth of the firm, and he has successfully continued a 40+ year relationship with The City University of New York. Joe also takes great pride in his work with the Teamsters and has worked with Teamsters Local 804 for over a decade. Joe is also part of a team that looks to expand their financial services to other Teamsters throughout the state of New York, so they too can lead their Ideal Lives.
Joe has been in the Financial Services Industry since 2003, driven by a personal experience that shaped his career trajectory. During college, unsure of his path, Joe's father, a Local 28 sheet metal worker, received a $90,000 annuity check due to a health issue. Following advice that led to unexpected tax implications, Joe witnessed firsthand the impact of poor financial guidance on his family.
This experience became Joe's catalyst, propelling him into financial planning to protect families from similar pitfalls. Armed with a Bachelor's degree from Pace University's Lubin School of Business, Joe holds the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ (CRPC®) designation and is pursuing Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) certification to better serve his clients' evolving needs.
Joe was an Academic All American and Captain of his Collegiate Football Team. In addition, Joe played two seasons of professional football in Europe for the Bergamo Lions in Bergamo, Italy. He served as a captain for two seasons in 2002 to 2003, winning the Italian Super Bowl and Euro Bowl Champion in 2002. These days, Joe enjoys jogging on the boardwalk, family time at the beach, and golfing.
Joe values his Italian heritage, reflected in his love for cooking and gratitude-driven community involvement, including support for local charities, such as Long Beach Pantry and St. Williams Pantry.
